OFFICE & COMMERCIAL La Tour McGill, Montreal, Canada La Tour McGill is a 36-storey office tower on one of the most prominent boulevards in the heart of Montreal. The tower’s stepped pinnacle is distinctive in Montreal’s skyline. The project presented the difficult task of co-ordination with the existing flanking buildings and the rear of the Centre Eaton. The base of the tower was inserted into the existing Centre Eaton and cantilevered over the existing heritage building to the right of the facade. While co-ordination of design and construction was challenging for this innovative solution, the project was completed on time and on budget.
